| BBC Lifestyle is one of the channels operated by BBC Worldwide on a commercial basis (in constrast to the main BBC channels in the UK which are funded by the British public through the Licence Fee). It is currently available only on Now TV (Channel 221) and is normally sold as part of the "BBC 5".
It claims to have six programming strands:
BBC Lifestyle features several programmes that were not made by the BBC and not made for any of the domestic BBC channels. In fact, many of the shows were first broadcast on Channel 4.
